Secondly, and slightly less morbidly, if her husband were gravely ill or if there were a legitimate emergency demanding her immediate attention, she would dare to venture outdoors with a naked face. Practicality does trump vanity, after all.

Parton does not plan on ending up in a precinct lineup, but if by some grave misfortune she were to find herself arrested, she wouldn’t settle for mugshots resembling other disheveled stars.
